Alexis grew up in Santa Cruz, California, where the meeting of ocean, redwoods, and creative counterculture sparked a lifelong appreciation for the balance between natural and human ecosystems. Alexis has since lived in San Francisco, France, Germany and now Greensboro Bend, Vermont, each experience deepening an understanding of how people communicate, connect, and express their identities. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, with degrees in Psychology and Fine Art, Alexis has spent 20 years working as an artist, designer and strategist across multiple disciplines, including experience design, UX research and branding. This cross-pollination of creative and strategic work has shaped a practice rooted in empathy, collaboration, and systems thinking. Now serving several organizations in the Northeast kingdom including The Greensboro Planning Commission, NEKarts council, and now The Greensboro Community Trust, Alexis is dedicated to cultivating arts, culture, and community in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
