Johanna Polsenberg
Johanna is a homebody who loves to travel, one of many contradictions that have led this marine biologist to be happily living in the mountains of northern Vermont. Trained as a marine ecologist, Johanna's career has included videoing humpback whales underwater in the Caribbean, serving as a senior legislative aide to two Members of Congress, and negotiating with governments and oil companies in support of communities living around and organisms living in the Gulfs of Mexico and Guinea. Johanna currently works as a STEM teacher in an alternative high school, an Advanced EMT on two local EMS services, and as a real estate investor. She spends her free time raising teenage boys, dogs and sheep on her farm in Stannard, and skiing and biking in the mountains of the NEK.
