Greensboro Selectboard Member & Educator

Judy grew up in St. Johnsbury, earned her BA in political science from Tufts University. After working in the Massachusetts government and at several social service organizations in southern Vermont,  Judy earned a MED in special education from UVM and began a 35 year career as a special educator and reading specialist. She and her husband, Karl, settled in Greensboro Bend where they raised their family.  Judy taught at Lamoille Union and Hazen Union, and then at Craftsbury Elementary and Academy for thirty years.  She now teaches preschool part time at Craftsbury Saplings. She has served on many boards and town committees in Greensboro over the past 40 years and is also an Advisory Board member and long term volunteer with the Bread and Puppet Theater.
