Liz has over 20 years of marketing experience in the services industry, working for multinational organizations with clients around the world. Liz has led campaigns addressing sustainability, biodiversity and the circular economy, developing compelling, concise communications strategies and action plans. Since 2010, Liz has been actively involved in raising awareness of the urgency of climate change, working with climate justice groups in Massachusetts and more recently Vermont.  Originally from Scotland, Liz moved to Greensboro in 2020, building a net-zero home and creating a biodiverse landscape - an ongoing project. As an active member of the Greensboro community, Liz has helped establish and grow the Greensboro Community Garden, leads the Energy & Climate Action Committee and is part of a working group facilitating community conversations, connection and democracy.
